Authorities say they have caught the trigger man, Kareem Jamal Clea, in the murder of a legally blind and disabled man for his life insurance benefits.

According to local news station CBS WJZ-13, authorities have charged Clea, who they believe was paid $50,000 by former pastor, Kevin Pushia, to kill Lemuel Wallace for $1.4 million dollars in life insurance policies.

“In February 2009, city police found a man shot to death in the 4500 block of Franklintown Road in West Baltimore’s Leakin Park.”

“The victim was later identified as Lemuel Wallace, 37, who lived at the Arc group home. Now police have charged Kareem Jamal Clea, 27, with 1st and 2nd degree murder in Wallace’s death.”

In early September, The Fraud Report, reported that former Baltimore pastor, Kevin Pushia, had confessed his part in the planned murder of Lemuel Wallace; confessing to authorities that he had taken out several life insurance policies under Wallace’s name and listed himself as the beneficiary.  He then revealed that he paid for Wallace to be murdered using the money from insurance coverage for a 2007 fire that occurred at a church he once operated. Pushia was later charged and convicted for hiring a hit man to kill Lemuel Wallace.
